LOL, I don't claim to be an insider anymore. I was once, but have very few connects to the current program, just report back what I hear through industry folk that have a vested interest in SMU. The fact that you are in a team movie gathering gives you better insight than me. Why don't you just put to bed any transfer rumors. since you have direct access to the kids...

I figure Orsini will be on some post selection show and will let it slip out that he's had conversations about Doherty's future at SMU. That lets everyone know things are happening. I figure on Monday the axe falls so that the vacancy is posted on Monday, then as teams get eliminated from the dance, he can swoop in and make a hire. Or if he does nothing by Monday, I suspect, we have Matt for another year.

There is NO FRIGGIN WAY that Doherty remains for another year. No way possible. If this happens, I'll cancel my 6 season tickets, and we can expect a mass exodus and transfer of many players on the existing roster.

Not that it matters, but I know I won't watch another game, that's for sure. What a nightmare that would be.

On Tuesday, Orsini will step up and fix his biggest mistake to date. When he pulls the trigger, I certainly hope he doesn't break out his, "Top 25 in everything we do" quote. It's embarassing everytime he says it.

Sadler was 101-89 and got fired from Nebraska. He made $900K plus incentives. Looks like the donors will have to pony up to get an experienced, proven head coach.

Speaking of coaches, I hope Rhonda is gearing up the women's team for the BE. If she is in the bottom 4 of the BE for the next 3 years then her job could be in jeopardy as well. Just sayin.
