I heard that the Aggy game isn't sold out yet, not even including the temporary seats. Are the extra seats needed? I saw the framework for the seats but it didn't look like they were all ready to go. Will they be all general admission? Will the TCU game outdraw A&M?

Probably because 96 bucks a ticket (cheapest) isn't worth it to them when the cowboys stadium playing arkansas will probably cost them

After the aggy faithful mow a few lawns this week, more of those endzone tix will disappear.

Endzone structure is in early stages of construction on the southeast corner of the endzone. At 11:30 a.m., there were about six to eight guys standing around the structure. Couldn't tell if they were going to "get busy" putting seats in place or dismantling it. A high level guy told me yesterday that the permanent seats weren't sold out yet.

As of right now according to ticketmaster there's still quite a lot of seats available from sections 209-217, some from 220-225, and the temp seats they are setting up. You would think they'd fill the perm seats first before putting up the temp ones.

I'm guessing it will be 25k SMU and 10k A&M this saturday. Or 70% SMU and 30% A&M.

After the game starts? Seems like that would be poor planning on our part. The Aggies will show... they always do.

we will have about 22-25k there (and I am a 30 yr season ticket guy). Our fans show up when it is something worth going to....they dont come to junk games. there will be about 5k extra seats, and they will be sold. I have had about 15 aggies now ask me for free tickets - they will start buying them once they realize ponies aint selling or giving any tickets to no aggies.

We say this every year for a big game..."they will take over the stadium..." blah blah blah. People forget we have an incredibly fair weathered fan base and will show up when we play better teams. See TCU 2 yrs ago...plenty of SMU fans will come and will have much more than Aggy

It was Tulane, but it was their home opener. I'm sure they are disappointed

some of you guys crack me up. Proud of 22,000-25,000 SMU fans. That's a TOTAL FAIL. Any other team sells this game out early leaving the opposing team with just their team alottment and few other visiting fans. See big bad TCU and big bad Baylor. SMU can't sellout stadiums half their size and opponent fans take the rest. I doubt many in Dallas even know the Aggies are playing here this week. Once again SMU alumni, family and friends really just aren't that interested in SMU Football.

But I bet Dallas now knows it's part of "SEC Country" (so says an A&M billboard directly across from SMU)

Same sign in Austin
