Who cares about making a bowl game at 6-6? What's the point? Would much rather play friggin Ohio State and go 5-7 than go 6-6 and play in the who gives a rip bowl. Lots of teams make it to bowl games - TCU has set its sights higher. We may not get there but we are willing to sack up and give it a shot. SMU needs to quit talking about 3 straight low tier bowls and take the next step up the ladder. Bowls games don't mean squat (with a few exceptions).
Your own coach said bowl games mean a lot because of the 15 extra practices. That is like another spring ball session. You stop making bowl games or 2 or 3 years in a row and you will be the next Iowa St real quick frog. By the way next year our OOC is tougher than yours. We play 4 BCS teams so we are stepping it up.

Wish we would see the improvement of 45 extra practices the last 3 years.........
