Looking at those teams unless someone has a total collapse like Houston this year we will win 3 or 4

I think we have a chance at 6 wins. Memphis is a likely win. Temple is ok and lost their coach so another likely win. UCONN is ok and is at home so another likely win. Houston has terrible coaching so I think we have a good chance against them. UCF is very inconsistent, good one year bad the next so that and the fact that it is a home game gets me to think we have a good shot at a win. USF was terrible this year and brings in a new coach so another game we have a chance to win. Baylor and Texas Tech will be down. Not saying we will win but at least they are not automatic losses. TCU is our superbowl so we will play our best game of the season against them meaning we have a chance to win. Texas A&M, Boise State, and San Diego State are the 3 games that I concede as those 3 teams are superior to us. I'm not saying it will happen, but I do think there is a realistic chance of becoming bowl eligible with our schedule. Going forward we need to improve our talent level to beat these teams, but next year will be exceptional circumstances.

Don't concede San Diego State. SMU has done pretty well against running teams.

Unfortunately all the defensive players who stopped those running teams will not be around

Road game, pretty sure that'll be one of the games June pencils in as a loss.
