The Texans have other draft priorities early on like a number 2 wide receiver, middle linebacker or o-lineman. If he slid down to 3rd or 4th round though I would take him as a project with a look to replacing an aging Antonio Smith in 2-3 years.

I love the ‘Big Guy” and from an SMU supporter perspective, I hope he goes in Round 1. Stepping back from that … that’s a lot of guaranteed money for someone who is still a work in progress (yes a lot of upside potential) but the league is full of guys with potential that busted … who have played more than 4yrs. Plus, round 1 guys are looked to be impact players or at least make their presence felt their rookie year. I think Margus is a year or two away from that level. I still think he is a 3rd to early 4th round pick …. And I hope I’m dead wrong.
