haha that's true and funny to think about. Seriously, Rice & Tulane DBs & LBs trying to take down one of the greatest RBs in the history of the game- either college or pro. He would average 400 yards a game in conference.

Line's numbers are 20% or so more than the average June Jones college rushing attack. Credit for his durability but it is not phenominal numbers.

Yep. Forcing undersized LB's and DB's used to defensing the spread to take him on one on one simply isn't a fair fight.

Triple option: Shead and P. Line with Gilbert on QB. Why not??
there is not even a fair fight here..Zack is a good tough utility player with skills but ED was in class by himself..you ever see his film? Not even close and he was in the SW Conference..which was the SEC of its time? Cmon family members get real and no disrespect intended.

Triple option is more true to the run n shoot philosophy than the run n shoot is.
The whole point was to spread and pass against defenses geared to stop tight power or option running. The modern equivalent is to line up tight and cram it down little speedy pass-defense defenses.
Imagine if we had Willis running spread option with shawnbrey
