If the Aggies ask SMU to move the game to Jerry World, SMU will say no and they should, I agree with you.
It would be interesting to see if the game would have a bigger turnout at Jerry World compared to last year at Ford...........
I am surprised there was not a bigger turn out this year. If SMU was to agree to move the game to Jerry World and Manziel is still the QB, I think every Aggie within 200 miles would attend

Guessing tickets would be considerably more expensive when they were at Ford.............

Yeah, but now the Aggies have a bunch more bandwagon fans with the whole Manziel thing.
It still cracks me up to think about how many of them (probably who all now own Manziel jerseys) could have paid a measley $90 to see him play - and basically be close enough to almost touch him. Certainly be as close to him playing as they will ever have the chance again.
Are you really banging on A&M fans for not spending $90 to buy out seats that were supposed to be filled by SMU fans? Really? Do you realize they could have spent less to go to the two FCS home games they got stuck with or the game vs LA Tech in Shreveport?
If anything SMU fans should be embarrassed by their weak showing for a big time opponent. Not using rediculous logic to bash opposing fans who had half the fans in Ford for the game.

Agreed. Also, I have a hard time blaming them for not knowing how good Manziel was going to be. I am pretty sure no one was predicting him to win the Heisman going into that game so I do not see how they are any more stupid than everyone else.
Any time SMU plays a big state school, there will ALWAYS be more fans of the opponent b/c there are so many more of them. Yes, SMU needs more fans in the stands but, really, everyone should know that by now we will NEVER out number ut/a&m/tech. We have, what, 9,000 undergrads and they probably have that many in their freshman class. If I were us, and a&m wanted to play at JW, I would say NO just to keep the fan numbers a little bit more even.
I think the game will get mved to Jerryworld in the end. If SMU's administration insists o keeping it at Ford (and rightly so), then I could see A&M dropping the game for another team AND/OR blackballing SMU.
