Let's just hope we don't see another repeat of this.

Don't you have anything better to do than troll our board?

How is it trolling when it's relevant to the topic? Many posters here are under the delusion that they will outnumber tech fans at Ford when many teams have taken over Ford all throughout the JJ era and before that even but we won't go back that far. Plus I can also say that because we outnumbered Tech fans when we beat them on National TV at The Rob a few years ago. We talked the talk and walked the walk. So let's see if smoo will do the same. (Though we already know the answer to that)

We do know the answer. Don't you have 31 points you need to go look for?

No. I can just take it out of the 95.

41-16 in 1992 is the only score that matters to that lame argument.

For some reason cougar king thinks that embarrassing performance by Cougar Hi in that 95 pts is something he can be proud of. He actually should be ashamed of it.

The only way to outnumber an opponent like Tech is to sell season tickets. Sell the tickets before the opponent can buy them and leave only the visiting alottment. UH actually had very high season ticket sales 2 years ago-SMU has 8,000. That's why TCU brings 4 times the number SMU does when we play them
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

If anybody should be ashamed, it's you guys for almost giving up 100 points. (We could have scored 150 if we really wanted to though)

Correct. We are anticipating 15,000 season tickets being sold this year and estimated attendance for opening day is expected to be around 35-40k.

Many times? Please, stop exaggerating. The one time you cited does not equal many.

If you have energy to devote towards attendance issues, UH can use you help. Do you have facilites for every game this year? BTW, didn't you tell me that there was NO WAY UH would play a game at BBVA Compass Stadium because it was too small? Remind me again where the UH-Memphis game will be played on Oct. 12?

Yes, we have facilites for every game.

We are only playing at BBVA because the Texans will be playing in Reliant that Sunday and Rice doesn't want us to use their new locker rooms nor see their old ones and use it against them on the recruiting trail even though we usually don't recruit the same players. (Though they have allowed us to play Cincy there, which will easily be the highest attended game at Rice Stadium in 2013)

If we have no problem selling out a 32k stadium in consecutive years and we stayed well over 25k despite being 5-7, losing to Texas State and giving up 72 points to SMU. I would think that we would have no problem selling out 22k BBVA. ESPECIALLY when our season ticket holders alone can almost sell out the place.

Why in the world would anyone think that we can out number fans of a big state school? That isn't going to happen and I don't understand why anyone thinks the alums of those schools, who live in Dallas, will buy season tkts to SMU games....it just isn't going to happen. Hey, I live near Houston and I wouldn't even have a thought to buy season tkts to rice or uh games. uh is a state school and should be able to have more fans in the stands because they have more students...DUH!

and that's the point! I love it when fans of public schools more than 3 times our size who can't draw twice our numbers want to brag about their fan support.

bottom line is that BOTH SMU and Houston need to step up our games if we are going to help boost the stature of the new AAC

Actually there have been times where we drew twice your numbers. Hell, if you go by actual butts in seats then we drew three times your numbers.
