But that was the best senior class we have replaced in years, and many of them started for several years. I thought before the season that this was a borderline bowl team, and that hasn't changed after 2 games. I thought we'd lose to Tech and beat Montana State, and we did. For the record, I think we'll lose the next 2, after which I'll still think we're a borderline bowl team.
Sounds like you don't think we recruited we enough over the years to replace them. And Hunt while he did well in the bowl game did not exactly light it up during the year imo. Borderline bowl team after 6 years wow. Are the hard core JJ supporters are already getting their excuses and talking points ready? Wow, you think we lose the next 2 games. Now that is boldly going out on a limb.

I've gotten used to seeing the O sputter around the field, but seeing the D get mowed down by an FCS school is disappointing.
So true, the D carried the teams over the years. Especially last year with all the TO's. I am not sure we have gotten a take away yet? I don't remember.
I laugh every time I see this thread title. At the time it was posted there had to have been dozens of posts expressing concern (putting it mildly), yet it seems to have been a sincere question.
