I don't know if the new natatorium will be up to the standards needed to host Olympics, or even NCAAs. I heard they will spend enough to host AAC championships, but that might be it, money-wise. The tennis center, on the other hand, is viewed as a definite site for Olympic tennis.
Question for BigT3x: "Knocking down the brand new tennis facility was a strategic decision to support the Bush Center. That's why the school paid for it."
Is it already paid for? I was under the impression they're still trying to raise a lot of money, that they had enough to start building, but the funding is far from complete, like Moody. Not true?

Are there any other Olympic-standard aquatic centers in Dallas? I wonder if the city of Dallas would give a donation to bump ours up

Most times the Olympic aquatics venues include some temporary elements (seating) that are removed post-competition. Beijing and London both did that.

Loos Swimming Center in Addison.

Loos was recently renovated after deteriorating for 50 years

Let's hope Laura Miller does not mount a campaign against the Olympics coming to Dallas like she did the last time Dallas tried.
