You do realize that Rice, UH, Tulsa (multiple), UCF and Southern Miss to name a few have all had recent -at least-10 win seasons recently right?

Has anyone noticed that PlanoStangs text doesn't go all the way across? Do you randomly hit enter in the middle of sentences or something?PlanoStang wrote:I sure do miss Margus, DeGared, and Zach just for starters. Accidental pun not intended at

We got Shead, and now we may get to see what he really can do tomorrow.

So....remind me why we want to be in a P5 league?DiamondM75 wrote:That is the same guy that did not want to hire LB.Billy Joe wrote:Doubtful we will make a bowl this year due to AD (Orsini) screwing us with the most difficult non-conference schedule in the country. That is the same guy that gave Doherty an extension with a guaranteed buy out.
I wonder why Turner fired him?
By that measure we might be 1-3 anyway. We got unlucky against Tech with 2 terrible calls that directly impacted the score of the game.Glenn Sosbee wrote:If we can stop making so many stupid mistakes, that would go a long way. Traylon Shead's return would also help. I had an uneasy feeling heading into this year and that has not changed. We really should be 0-4 right now. Got lucky against Montana St..
I prefer we play P5 schools and slowly win our way up...maybe next year we beat one of them and the other one we beat 2 out of the 3...than being stuck with a boring OOC schedule against crappy FBS and FCS schools. This 1-3 will do more good than harm, and we have played tougher teams than rutgers has. Our hardest offense was Texas A&M and our hardest defense was TCU...so anything from here on out should be a piece of cakemustangxc wrote:So....remind me why we want to be in a P5 league?DiamondM75 wrote:That is the same guy that did not want to hire LB.Billy Joe wrote:Doubtful we will make a bowl this year due to AD (Orsini) screwing us with the most difficult non-conference schedule in the country.
