I'm sorry but this was a lost. Why cause we gave up 21 points. June wasn't left behind in Memphis and we now look like the top of the bottom 5.

Totally (if you ignore the last 2 quarters).

You are officially ejected from the "I'm glad we won" thread for targeting good remarks with bad ones.

I love winning. Its like, better than losing. And we won. Watching the game and the ESPN relay, I feel better cause we actually played so much better than the score.
Yes. we had 3 turnovers that lead to 20 points. That in and of itself is a fluke. Yet, we still won by a position. We lost to TTU and RU because of one turnover leading to a TD. We still beat MSU despite 3 turnovers leading to a TD. We won because we were better and executed so well that we could afford late game screw ups.
For the record, I grabbed mrydel's hair during one of our turnovers and its real. No toupee. And he drove with me and one of my daughters so no moonshine for any of us. Just setting the record straight.
And we would have bought beer at the Liberty Bowl cause they sold it there but we didn't have 7 bucks between the 3 of us so we couldn't afford a brew.
Our O moved the ball even after terrible mistakes that lead to MSU points. Our D only gave up a worthless TD late in the game. We outplayed MSU and for once the stats other than points off turnovers will show that we dominated.

I'm sorry ponyte, but how is three turnovers for touchdowns a fluke? If I'm not mistaken a fluke is a rate occurrence, no? I would say if you fumble three times a game that's a common occurrence. So the appropriate thing to say its a trend or a repeating pattern of people losing focus, getting manhandled, or just not paying attention which comes from ill prepared coaching or just being downright talentless. Now GG isn't talentless, without him I would say we would be 0-6 right now which isn't saying much but it's mainly because we don't have really any solid player. We just have flashes here and there but no consistency.
I'll repeat my stance "dominating" 2.5 quarters isn't good enough. Playing solid 4Qs is. That what we need to be. Right now and from now on til we are in a P5 conference, the kids need to think they are a touchdown from winning the game. Don't take your foot off the throttle until you are 2 minutes away and the score difference is 40 points. Because sadly, had that Memphis state player didn't commit that stupid penalty and their kicker actually can kick field goals ona consistent bias we would have lost. That's including our "dominating" 2.5 quarters because once again 2.5 quarter is not enough.

Meh just don't care, not happy with how we play so whether the thread is ring sarcastic or not I'm going to throw my negative comments in regardless because I felt Our game even with us winning like 4-5 touchdowns was anticlimactic compare to ucfs game...

I wish you would have told me you didn't have the $7 for a Bud Lite. I would have been honored to get you and Mr. Rydel one share.

I think that many turnovers leading directly to scores is a fluke. The pick six was the one that was the most tragic, since it was a fourteen point swing (we were going in) was a terrible call, and we had a couple of guys give up on the chase when we could have caught him and made them run some more time off the clock.
I feel a bit better this am given our overall play. And many of you may not have advanced to this level of football knowledge, but a win is indeed better than a loss

I'm glad the guys won yesterday and would be thrilled if they could win the rest of our road games by 1 point no matter how "ugly" those games might get at times
On to Homecoming and Temple
