I agree with the 60 number. Anytime a team scores 60 runs, the baseball game should be called.
Football, it shouldn't be a point below 6,000

I looked up the Arkansas mercy rule and apparently it is just a running clock that will begin if a team gets 35 points or more ahead in the 2nd half. Cthe coaches can also mutually agree to shorten the periods or terminate the game at any time.
I saw another article where a person was requesting that the Razorbacks ask that the mercy rule be applied to the SEC.

ESPN just said that the state of Michigan has a mercy rule when a team goes up by 50 the game is over.

Better get used to it for the next UIL realignment. Rumors floating around that FW Dunbar will "opt up" for 5A football in the new 6A classification. Once again, separating the FWISD schools with suburban school districts.

Not that I'm an avid viewer, but I happen to be watching Jay Leno last night, and in his opening monologue he mentioned it and ragged on the parent making the complaint. He did not mentioned schools, just Texas HS Football.

The parent should be ragged on because he/she is a Damn fool... talk about adding insult to injury following a 91 point [deleted] whipping...

Aledo is a great high school team. and well coached. Its crazy how good they are. forget bullying, the complaint people should have is recruiting. Word is they 'attract' players. Like a star player from Richland that showed up at Aledo this year.

Maybe we should recruit from this schools team... We really could use a team full of talented bullies rather than our usual talentless bullied players... Food for thought.
