President Turner will insist on playing himself, that man never misses a photo-op.

Hopefully it will be the scene where he thanks JJ for his services and tells him the university as decided to go in another direction

I am actually interested in seeing how this thing pans out. JJ has some really intriguing stories from his time at Hawaii and obviously did great things there. I have never met the guys nor do I know anyone who has, but from the cometary it seems like he may genuinely be a nice guy.
Then there was the whole Rutgers post game interview where he seemed completely miffed that we lost the game and said "I told them (players) I loved them" after the game.
I think it is obvious that he/his staff gets beaten badly on the recruiting trail but I believe he takes interest in his players and develops guys once they are here - see many NFL players in recent years. Regardless of who got them to SMU, they played well and made it.

Don't hold your breath on seeing how this pans out. Nobody is going to invest in this lame amateur hour movie. It is completely ridiculous and embarrassing to everyone involved - particularly June.

Well we are competing against the Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, PAC 12 and ACC, as well as local AAC, CUSA, Sunbelt schools for that talent. It's tough as it is, and being in AAC makes it tougher.

The production company's website is down, but it appears, based on other on-line listings, that the head guy is Carl Barbee.
I checked out Carl Barbee on the International Movie Database. He has one credit: Art Director for "Changing Gears," produced in 1996 and released in 1997.
The New York Times has this plot summary, "A wowan whose marriage collapses starts dating two men who happen to be best friends. Her experiences and trials lead her to a better understanding of herself and her life."

I see June recruits movie producers at the same high level that he recruits football players.
