Re: Dallas' Team?
We are so bad right now, that if we played NTS today, I think they would beat us easily. With that game being in Denton next year, it will be tough for us to win, they will be jacked up beyond belief for us. NTS is obsessed with SMU, and hates us with a burning passion.

Last time we played in Denton, we went up expecting a win and got our asses handed to us. Embarassing!
Re: Dallas' Team?
That D of UNT is really good....we will be embarrassed this year....it will b a long drive back from Denton. That's a well coached team. They have a great QB coming in from Navarro JC to take over...Josh Greer.

Now we will have ntsu alumni bragging to us in the errm.... Well none of us actually work with them but no doubt somewhere we will encounter one and be humiliated

UNT will be jacked up for us?? I am pretty sure all of the commuters will be home at their parents house watching a Big 12 or SEC game.

Based on the number of NTSU fans that attended their bowl game, I have to disagree with you.

Most of them will be doing just that but they still should have around 25K in attendance.

Re: Dallas' Team?
Having a decent turn out to a bowl game in your own backyard when atleast 100K alumnus live in the city isn't that impressive. Sure, there will be 20K semi-enthusiastic Dentonites there but nothing to be intimidated about. All the alums will stay in Dallas routing for UT or A&M or whatever other bandwagon they are jumping on.

The 11 guys on the field wearing their uniform probably matter more than any of their commuter students.

That was my exact point re: we aren't even "the team" of smu students
