My guess is that Duke was on the hook for a certain number of seats and they couldn't sell them thus they were empty but they were technically "sold seats". But yeah there were tons of empty seats in the upper deck that's for sure.

Fantastic game though it's a shame it wasn't a full house.

Duke had a huge crowd at the game. (Including me.) Far beyond the allotment.

Empties were in the upper upper end zones and were early buyers whose team didn't make this bowl and they stayed home.

At least I don't have to watch Johnny play college ball ever again.

Mrydel, to answer your question, your recollection is exactly right. Duke was the other opening JJ said he was interested in. I don't think he was in Duke's top two (or three while Paul Johnson was still in play.)

I have never despised a college player as much as manziel. What a classless punk. Can't wait for him to get rocked in the nfl. And since i dont care about the nfl i wont have to hear about him as much...

What did he do that was classless?

When he was up at the crowd he wasn't doing a show me the money sign, which by the way isn't want that hand signal even means nor was he the one that even started doing it first on A&M, he was trying to pump up the A&M fans who had been quiet due to the shock of being down to Duke.

Exactly. He is a huge egomaniac and he always knows when he is on camera. Getting in evans face, throwing his helmet, etc. The guy is an ahole and i bet most of his teammates agree - of course they would never say so publicly.

He should have gotten in Mike Evans face BTW. The guy was acting a fool and needed to told to calm the hell down and play smart. Did you guys even watch the exchange? By the end Johnny was patting Evans on the head. It wasn't some huge screaming attack at all.
