Comparing Campisi's to a steakhouse is apples and oranges.

Dunston's is good, but not great, just like Bob's. (Del Frisco's, Three Forks, Butcher Shop, Chamberlain's are all much better.

As for Campisi's, it also is good but not great. But what Dallas pizza is better? There's one in Deep Ellum that's pretty good, but I can't remember the name. Getting pizza in Dallas is a little like getting BBQ in New York. It probably exists, but there just aren't many good choices, so you have to identify the best of limited options.

Best croutons and canned beets in town.
Very, very true. Beets and croutons are second to none. Everytime I go there, I feel like I am attending a meeting of the John Birch Society. Just something about the clientele. Not knocking it mind you, just an observation. Classic, stand-up place.

Dunston's salad bar is the best in town. Be prepared to smell like a smoke pit afterwards though

Al's=Overrated
Bobs on Lemmon=Solid
Nick and Sam's=The chateaubriand is money, but they can't seem to make a decent Old Fashioned to same themselves.
JR's out in the 'Burbs near Grapevine is as good as any of them.
