Re: SMU gear
My wife had a distressed gray with blue SMU T that she loved. Disappeared from our house ( this happens when you have children and grandchildren). Never have been able to find one just like it.

Awesome shirt.
How does these shirts fit? I wear a medium in regular t-shirts, but a large in American Apparel style t's. What size would you recommend?
I own this shirt - got an XL which is my usual size. They don't run particularly small like American Apparel style T's.
Also, I've washed / dried many times, and unlike George Costanza, there was NO SHRINKAGE.

The Retro Brand shirts, which is what the '82 is, fit depending on where you carry your weight and how you like shirts to fit. If it's a broad shoulder thing, you can definitely get your normal size. If it's more of a beer-loving thing (no judgement, mine is all wine) then you would want to go up a size. The shirts cut in a bit more at the waist for a good fit. No boxiness allowed.
i.e.: I'm a ladies Medium in the real world, but all my Retro Brand is a ladies Large, bc, as I mentioned, I have an affinity for wine and it has now started to show a bit. I also don't like anything super fitted.
I'm glad SMU is starting to show up everywhere. I get excited for days before and after the games lately. The students are on fire!

Re: SMU gear
The school is pushing "Moody Magic", even though most people instantly recognize the phrase "Moody Madness".

Re: SMU gear
I like "Moody Madness", but "Moody Magic" is actually unique to SMU basketball so it gets my vote.

Re: SMU gear
To clarify, Moody Madness relates to a Mavericks playoff game played there in the Mid-80's. The Mavs beat Seattle by 1 in overtime. While Madness relates to Moody and has been embraced by the school since then, it sources back to the Mavs, and, while I am a fan of both, Moody Magic is unique and specific to SMU basketball.
