One of my friends told me about this yesterday and said that his source was "pretty sure we got UT, but not positive."

Obviously I'm not trying to get anyone's hopes up, but I wanted to share news as soon as I heard it.

It's slow during the summer - we need someone to create some activity on the board.

If, you want to liven up the summer threads. Than you have to make sure Bambi makes an appearance. . . For some strange reason. Bambi tends to get everyone in a "tizzy!"

I bet UConn/UT means no SMU/UT. Just my intuition.

There's a lot of salt in the initial part of this thread. I am almost certain UT won't schedule us no matter who the source is. UT can't afford to lose to us. UT won't do a home and home even against a top ten team (they have the UT network to think about). Now I would agree to a road 1 and done with UT in hoops, if they agreed to play our football team at Jerry World and it would be treated as a neutral field game with UT network getting TV rights and we get the gate.

Excluding pre-season tournaments. Don't think Larry Brown/staff would make out the schedule and ever agree to a 1-done game with anybody.

Unless you have a time machine, Austin and Dallas are no different nowadays.

That could be more hostile than cincinatti or louisville games last year if they came into moody. Make it a saturday night game, athletic department throws a pregame tailgate with a couple food trucks (preferably with an open bar), blare 7 nation army at every timeout to the point where ut is practically huddling at half court just to hear each other, and we run them out of the gym. Lets make it happen

who cares about a home-and-home and all this "its not fair" nonsense? we can play that card when we have an inferior program, but not now. let's go kick their asses in austin and tell them they aren't ready for moody yet, check back in a few years. hell, lets go play them in the darrell k royal parking lot, away-and-away. they arent on our level. simple as that.
