June can take them with him to his next job.

Since one has no offers and the other only has offers from Tennessee State and Tulsa I don't think there are going to be many P5 programs claiming after them. It's just people believing JJ propaganda.

Its not really accuracy-or passing skills with Davis-its that he doesn't know what he is doing. Doesn't release pass "on-time" 80% of the snaps so by the time he does throw its just sandlot scrambling with both WRs and QBs. They aren't running routes 7-8 seconds into play-they are just improvising. In that situation neither QB or WR really know where the other is going-which makes him look even more inaccurate

Davis is one read and take off. If his first option is open he'll throw it. If not he's taking off. Kid needs to be moved to wideout or safety where he will thrive.

A&M tried that and he left. Ain't gonna happen. He may not be the answer as our #1 QB long term, but he is most likely Morris' first option for next year. Morris will figure out fairly quickly if Davis can pass well enough within his scheme to make it work. If they find someone better that's great, but Davis can still be the 'wildcat' QB and backup.

Do you mean that people who do the ratings and gave him 4 stars are believing the JJ propaganda? If that is the case, why haven't they given all our recruits (or even just QB recruits) high ratings? Does not make sense to me that he would have 4 stars because people believe JJ propaganda.

he was rated even higher before SMU offered-so that's not it. Expected offers never materialized from the real recruiting expert evaluators known as college coaches. I think there are a lot of Pro-Style QBs who aren't getting many offers-more Coaches are looking for Dual Threat QBs for the Spread

We are talking about the two offensive lineman that Punch was referring to.

Neither have 4 stars.

Seems to me that is a product of the R & S and a bad line. Considering all our QBs have pretty much struggled in Junes offense - except when we had Sanders/Ribinson/Beasley, it may not be him.

I agree with FBdad, in a different offense - that seems simpler on the reads - and s little experience, I think he might be productive. And one that has more running That takes pressure off the QB.

Of course, if he brings in a QB all this is moot.

I disagree. Last game first punt was a shank and the rest were very low and luckily bounced right. He shows promise but I am not sold yet. But more importantly we need someone who can make a 35 yard field goal.

Field goal kicker is a must. Another infuriating aspect of the Jones regime.

Who needs a kicker? Might as well scholarship 10qbs and a dozen slot receivers. Then you start your walkon qb and dont player your highest recruited wideout.

There is no position that should not be over-recruited. None.
