At the end of the game, the teams had to be separated before leaving the court, but things did not escalate.
"Kids were saying something to each other walking off the floor and that is not what we do or what we should do," Dunphy said. ". . . I am disappointed there was anything going on and we will get to the bottom of it."
I love LB but when a visiting team disrespects your court how can you not be proud of your fans having your team's back?
I'm sure he was worried the crowd reaction might escalate the proceedings, but chanting your school's name is a lot better than a lot of stuff the crowd could have chanted.
I loved letting the team know we had their back - especially after such a great performance down the stretch.

lovin larry but he doesn't get to decide everything. If Temple scrums it up at the end of the game it is perfectly fine to remind them whose court they just lost on. Nobody said anything crude - even if there was reason to at that point.
amazing game. coming back against that team when we had really been showing nothing was fun to watch.

They were fouling hard down 10 with 3 seconds - then pulling that s--- after the game - I'd say they got a chip on their shoulder. Not a classy way to end a game.

Especially since MK pulled up and didn't go for a slam at the end of the game.

Then when the smu players came down to that side to sing varsity, it became heated. temple should have been long gone into the lockerroom by that point. Sterling and #25 were jawing throughout the game so i dont think these teams like each other much now.
Our players huddle at center court after every game.
Ask Terrell Owens how celebrating at mid field on at opponent works out.

That was a very telling moment.

I was disappointed in some of our drunk students that yelled in the Temple player's faces from the end of the row as they went into the locker room. No class.
