With NIc, MK, and KEEEEEITTTHHHHHHHHHHHH.
1. SMU
2. Cincy
3. Memphis
4. Tulsa
5. Uconn
6. Temple
7. Houston
8. UCF
9. Tulane
10. USF
11. ECU
Without them, drop SMU down to the 4 line. I know Shake is going to be really good, but he'll still be a freshmen. I think Memphis will be much improved next year with the twins, we'll just have to see is Pastner can screw them up, even with their dad on the staff.

Well duh, but I'm reading the tea leaves. He was originally going to wait until after his High School season was over and now he's pushing it back to beyond the signing date.

Re: AAC basketball next year
Its not that unusual to see top recruits-well those that are left- wait until well after April 15 signing date. Especially now-these days with NBA Undergraduate draft, graduate transfers, hardship transfers, regular transfers and academic casualties-a bunch of openings even at great Top 25 programs are opening up late. Its been widely commented on that with so many top programs chasing the few remaining decent recruits you get the phenomena of the red hot recruiting of players who were considered second tier during the early signing period. Kentucky might lose 5 players to NBA Draft and all of a sudden they are looking to fill their roster. He could be waiting to see what top programs have a late opening and SMU could get pushed out. Of course, SMU just might look for some immediate help from a graduate transfer too. So he could get pushed out. A lot of moving factors

ECM, what would be Pearl's motivation to leave Auburn for Memphis? Granted Auburn is not a basketball school but it is the SEC.

Memphis is a considerably better basketball job than Auburn. You're playing in a city that produces a lot of HS talent, and in an NBA facility with a sizable fan base.

A better basketball school, but would/could Memphis match the SEC money he makes at Auburn?

Federal Express says yes!

I understand we are the defending champs, but I have a hard time not putting Cincy as the preseason favorite next year.

I wouldn't discount Tulsa either. It is going to be a pretty strong 5-6 teams next year.

If we return the the AAC POY and the AAC 6th man of the year, and you add in our very strong recruiting class (3rd in conference and arguably underrated because of Foster's injuries that stopped his stock from rising, and don't account for our transfers comming in), there is no way we shouldn't be considered conference favorites.
