Actually if that happens then the P5 will just take the most valuable schools and leave the conference for dead rather than legitimize the entire conference.

I understand why you might Feel that way. The thing is, is that BYU has the Horse's to get into a Power conference, basically the Big 12, so they don't need the AAC. The Mustangs just need to keep improving and hope that the Florida schools don't jump ahead of us Stangs.
SMU (hopefully in Blue jerseys) needs to be a Force in the AAC going forward.
