I just know I am going to need a body guard here in Little Rock if we get Kapita.

Exactly. Let's load up and assume some relief. We have it down to 7 anyway, it won't take much relief to have this effectively go away. We need three big uns.

This weekend next year we'll be playing two in Madison Square Garden. That has to have some appeal.

Just wait until you see the billboard by your office thanking you for recruiting him

Detailed article about Kapita's current situation. Sounds like ACT was the reason he didn't qualify, not credits. We're the only school mentioned in connection with him, KT is his lead recruiter

It says only school mentioned, as ECM said, not only school. Said SMU is recruiting the hardest.

Kapita is a helluva option. We're in on 4 good bigs right now and hard. How long we're damn good, comes down to how we handle the next bunch of ships

Wonder how our competitors for those four are playing the current sanctions issue.
As a side note, I watched the streaming rerun of the Stanford game over the weekend. Not sure if it was just a bad ESPN feed or what, but they had the sideline reporter update on the LB situation and accompanying graphic, along with the Doris Burke rant, three full times. Frustrating that she doesn't have her facts straight. Almost looked like a sniper job.

Since the tourney sanctions don't effect incoming freshman for next year, I don't think it has any effect. At least I hope so.

They only have to look at Tolbert's stat sheet to see where they could be next year. Two new bigs will start FOR SURE on a team that is going to be otherwise loaded.

I don't really see how that has any impact on them. If anything, we have fewer schollies to give so MORE minutes to go around. And with only 2 "bigs" returning and tons of solid guards who can shoot/distribute/penetrate, it seems like a no brainer. And anyone who is a halfway decent salesman should be able to at least close 2 out of 4 with that kind of set up. Personally, I'd like to get Froling (versatile) and Bruno (power). My strong preference. But I'd take any of the 2 out of the 3 I know about.

You've got 7 underclassmen guards on the roster. I suspect that not all of them will return for 2016.
