I'm not sure I believe any of these rumors - a new one surfaces about every day. Kiffin is a piece of work (although, evidently he is a good coach).

I heard Kiffin's name connected with the Maryland job....VT could do better, though.

Evidently agents have been surfacing from the deepest of caverns - God help them if Saban finds them on campus during season. I can see Smart with the Gamecocks, and Kiffin in Blacksburg.
Not so sure another Mid South or Southern program would give Kiffin a chance after the way he handled the opportunity at Tennessee.

I could see Smart at UGA if they drop the hammer on Richt.

If Miles is fired by LSU that job now becomes the best vacancy available. And Miles becomes the hottest coach for everyone else. VT and MD would be among the bidders. Lots of moving parts including I'm sure Fatterson and Briles getting calls. Do you think that Fatterson or Briles would go to LSU? If so, then I could see TCU or Baylor talking to HCCM.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I think they are very happy with where they are. I don't see them leaving anytime soon. But, you never know, with the right amount of money anything is possible.

It's an interesting article. They say Dan Mullen is "a serious candidate" citing their own research with a number of sources, and then throw in Morris as "another name we've heard (Virginia Tech) is considering." Not nearly as strong as their Chad-to-SMU stories last year or even the Dan Mullen thing in the same article
