Now we can move on without a primadonna who was demanding minutes despite not being able to get his academics in order and despite being third on the depth chart at the PG position behind Nic and Shake. I hope he does well wherever he ends up but he needs more maturity to understand that you have to earn what you want.

Don't think he was a primadonna demand minutes. The young man has always carried himself in a very respectful way towards SMU. Just the academics things just did not click here. Also, was having a tough time learning the system like KF did in his first year. No need to bash the young man, Just sometimes things to do work and you move on.

Are you kidding? His parents used John Lucas to bash the SMU coaching staff as soon as Sed was very clearly not getting minutes. They were our version of Grandstaff's dad. Like I said I wish the kid well but let's not sugar coat the situation by glossing over the mud-slinging that was done.

That was his parents not the kid.[/quote]

Reflects on the kid that he didn't pipe them down out of respect for the others in the program

There's a degree of truth to this but I think the situation is working itself out for the best in the end

Just get the grades we need so we don't take the APR hit.

I wish Sed well. Sorry that things didn't work out for him here, but I'm sure he'll end up alright. As long as he doesn't hose us on APR, I don't have a beef.

Kitty Kat Barefield was also Retweeting some stuff from Jay Bilas calling APR bull crap.

With the tweet from the Compton Magic saying he's transferring, the John Lucas and Jay Bilas retweets, they're clearly trying to sling mud and don't care if they leave SMU in bad spot APR wise.

I really don't like it one bit.

Well I guess he didn't score any points...

Barefield appeared in five games this season, logging just 16 minutes. He did not score any points.

Good Sed is leaving, would have been tough for him next year too because the Aussie Tom Wilson is a ball smarty I believe. Tom (If not Redshirting) will share PG position next year with Shake.

So he quit with no release? That means he sits this year and all of next year?

Shame it didn't work out, Kid has skills that could have definitely been useful this year and next for sure.
