It's hard to imagine Keith making any decision that involves him playing less basketball.

It's also hard to imagine him bailing on his teammates and coaches without pretty damn good reason.
So going pro now seems a bit of a stretch.
This has been presented to all as KEITH'S decision.

There has been no mention of discipline or grades.... Those would be outside factors

Spending time with his mom? Instead of what? School?

Wouldn't she encourage him to do what he loves.... Which appears to be play for SMU?

This is seriously mysterious.

More poor decision making from KF... shocker.

Oops. An inadvertent opening of a can of worms. Of course I meant uninformed and only make that clear because that is the case even though his pattern does shadow one with which I am familiar.

Sadly Keith reminds me a bit of former SMU safety De'von Bailey....
big expectations, disappointing results.

As someone who had to prematurely retire to help care for aging parents, I'm immediately concerned about the comment that he is spending more time with his mother. Anyone who has followed SMU basketball has to know how important this game is to Keith and what he has had to deal with and overcome to become an important part of this team. It really is incredible how much this year's team has had to deal with, and yet here they are at 12-0. I'm really kind of surprised and disappointed by some of the comments being made about him. I think "FOE" was the slogan being thrown around earlier this year.

Keith is definitely a fan favorite whose presence on the court and enthusiasm on the sidelines will be missed while he is gone.

Oops. Didn't mean to slight our guys. What they have accomplished so far has been impressive. Getting to 14-0 would really be incredible under the circumstances and considering how tough Cincy is.

Hard to respect someone who has been shown undying love from the fans and all we've gotten in return is uneven play, NCAA sanctions and someone who apparently has quit suddenly mid season on his basketball family.

That's all you've gotten from him? The guy kills himself out there for the team and the fans every night. Sometimes, unfortunately, the breaks aren't going keith's way and he sometimes doesn't handle bad bounces well. But the effort is a constant, and the passion is arguably even more evident on the bench just supporting his teammates. What level of basketball did you play again? that you were consistently incredible every night at?

Lets wait till the facts come out to say he quit on his team.

I agree some what, but we have to give this a few days and see if whatevers going can get sorted out. I certainly hope it does. Fact is we need Keith right now and the seniors know that more than anyone. Bottomline if they still have KF back then we should as well.
