It was a bit light, especially in the upper section (rows 13 to 17) which have obstructed views of the replay screen. My brother came for the first time since the upgrade and was surprised it wasn't packed. It was clear rush was going on and it wasn't a big game. Next Tuesday isn't big either :-) so except Memphis to be rockin.

If you want to see a justified attendance complaint turn to ESPN2. #11 West Virginia is hosting #1 Kansas with the arena half full, and I'm being kind calling it half full. A third full might be more accurate.

Edit - to be fair, they are experiencing really bad weather in Morgantown.

It's Morgantown. They are drunk and the arena is lit by the amber light of burning couches...such a comforting sight!

Lots and lots of empty seats in Austin with Iowa State in the house.

Erwin is horrible, and there is no way there are 12k in that place.

Not a longhorn hater, but that arena is a joke for a supposed top tier athletic department.

ALEX LIFESON wrote:Pretty weak. Coming off the enormous media coverage from the Cinci game, there should have been a line around the block, to see this undefeated, entertaining, 15th ranked team. Where were the students and fans, that made it to Thursdays game? The small center court section, where the Mob sits, wasn't even full. The bleachers behind our bench were sparse, as were the east bleachers. Red seats were decent, but many, many, blocks of unused blue seats looked like an exhibition game. I don't want to hear the expected excuses, from the normal apologist. If you want a big time program, act like one. This is a SPECIAL team, that DEMANDS our support.

This is ridiculous

No, Erwin is a dump and no, the taxpayers will pay for The University of Freeloaders at Austin's new arena.

The top part of the Crisler Center was empty for Michigan and #3 Maryland
