I'm glad we will be in the same conference with Memphis for the next decade.

Pastner has plenty of cred with good players. It's how he's landed a No. 1 recruiting class and major transfers for years. It's coaching them where he's inept.

Actually, I think Pearl could do well at Memphis. But it's $10M to fire Josh this year and what? $3M to buy out Pearl? That's $13M before Memphis pays him dime one and Memphis doesn't have it. Memphis is most likely stuck with Josh at least one more year.
