I think one of our walk ons is a senior also. I thought I heard LB mention someone (Alan?). I know he is not the same level but if there is one he practiced every day and earned some recognition also.

Oh I know, he just is not ever mentioned. Looked it up. Name is David Nelson. I lost track of him when Ricky was killed.

I always have a soft spot for those that put in all the time and do not get to play since injury put me in that role in football. Although as the years go by I did play and was 5th in the Heisman voting in 1971.

20 years ago women would believe me when I was 5th in the Heisman voting. And no one knew better. It was a shame only 4 were invited to New York in 1971. Then Al Gore invented the Internet and my story was kaput.

Have fun tonight, seniors! You deserve the celebration. LB put together a fantastic team. We're going to miss NM, MK, and JT, but everyone who remains will be great for the next upcoming season(s). Beat the hell out of UCONN!!
