Check out CSUN's record. Being an alum won't make up for that!

Theus was a finalist last time but he's too fishy to touch. They actually decided on Rice, cause he'd do all the same cheap stuff, just not as brazenly

I need to give this a try. I like my job, but I really want a big raise, so I go visit another place and use that as a way to get that raise. Welcome to the Cronin world as he stays at UC with a big bump in salary.

He's officially staying at Cincy:
http://www.gobearcats.com/sports/m-bask ... 16aaa.htmlCINCINNATI – The second decade of the Mick Cronin era begins now.
University of Cincinnati Director of Athletics Mike Bohn announced Friday Cronin, who recently finished his 10th season will remain at the helm of the storied UC program.
“I would like people to try and understand after 10 years of dedicated service I chose to evaluate my career and my life,” Cronin said. “Reflecting through that process was extremely difficult, but it was something I needed to do for me personally. The city of Cincinnati and the University are special places to me and I’ve always said what an honor it is to be the head coach at my alma mater. This program has come such a long way in 10 years and we’ve still got work to do and goals to achieve. The 2016-17 season starts for me today and I can’t wait for the future that lies ahead for the Bearcats and this University.”

So, UNLV AD now saying on @ESPNLasVegas that Cronin verbally agreed to a deal and then never called back when he went home to Cincy.
UNLV AD said she learned of Cronin turning down the job after reading it on Twitter.
UNLV AD says "it was not a $3M contract" and, re: Under Armour, she also said the school is and remains a Nike school.

Mick Cronin is staying at Cincinnati, and UNLV’s coaching search will move in other directions, with New Mexico State coach Marvin Menzies flying in to Las Vegas tonight, according to a source. The Rebels have also reached out to St. Mary’s coach Randy Bennett, Arkansas-Little Rock’s Chris Beard and former St. John’s and UCLA coach Steve Lavin.
...
Menzies is expected to get arrive in Las Vegas about 7 p.m. today. Beard, Bennett and Lavin are possibilities waiting in the wings.

That would be quite a jump for Chris Beard but from what I have seen here I really think he could be up to it.

He has an impressive record. But how in the heck did he jump directly from D-II to UALR?
Only one year in D-I (plus three years in D-II) and no experience west of TX may make him a tough sell at UNLV.
