seth littrell is positioning himself for a big upside move. he will get a better offer that tt. chad is going to get a dose of the cold hard truth when he gets run out of Arkansas.

Better offer than Tech? Last time I checked, they were P5 and I'm sure they could double if not triple his current pay, not to mention provide a budget for assistants that would allow him to reward everyone he considers a "keeper" from his current staff and to upgrade where necessary...and that's before we even talk about recruiting. Not sure success at UNT is going to have every unhappy Top 25 program after him.

Watch this well done North Texas video.....Team Seth is doing a good job on the field and off the field making videos like this! Can't hurt recruiting. Chad is not in Seth's league. Arkansas blew it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyvveE0 ... e=youtu.be

Yes, winning is fun. Hope we can have some fun before too much longer.

As mrydel has already pointed out the test for CM will be in year 4 when he has had time to restock the cup board. He has a great recruiting class lined up for 2019 which for him is step #1. His biggest problem is for the Arkansas fans to fully come to grips with the dismal state of their program and back off long enough to let him build. Unfortunately, in today's reality the politics of every thing provides for little patience and immediate expectations. Any mistakes by Morris and the fans will devour him and he will not be afforded an interim term to restock and implement his system. Lastly, Arkansas fans tend to have little toleration for coaches who are not from Arkansas as Lou Holtz will attest when they ran him out of town despite building an excellent and competitive program. Hence, CM arrived with a target already on his back.

I agree with a lot of your assessment Pocono but the situation is a little different with Broyles no longer around. He had a strong presence even after he stepped down. And in the past, he fired a coach after an opening day loss to the Citadel. As I mentioned earlier, I think the new AD will give him all the time he can since it is his first hire.

Interesting video, quite a contrast between Seth and Chad, with the pregame and jargon.

Just a gut call, I think Littrel might be looking to move a year too late. Last year there seemed to be the more turnover at prime programs than there has been in years. That doesnΓÇÖt mean there wonΓÇÖt be a lot of P-5 vacancies at the end of the season, I just donΓÇÖt think there will be the same number of plum jobs.
Florida
Tennessee
A&M
Arkansas
Florida State
Oregon
UCLA
Nebraska (not a prime destination anymore)
Arizona St.

Doesn't matter. Littrell will get a great job, even with less openings, because he'll be at the very top of the 'coaches wanted' list. Chad was middle of the road at best.

Lubbock and maybe Boulder are both possibilities at this point, and USC might be looking as well.

I disagree. I held this position for a while because of their recruiting rankings. But after watching their performances, especially defensively, so far this season, Littrell is obviously a very good talent evaluator.
