No they got on one of the best dual QB prospects in the country coming in K.J. Jefferson-he's just going to be a true freshman

Honest question from someone who knows very little - - If Chandler Morris holds offers from Oklahoma, Clemson, and Auburn - which it appears that he does - is he a legit future starting QB in the SEC - perhaps at Arkansas?

Chad is obviously close with Dabo and Malzahn so some thought those were courtesy offers but he did have a crazy good season - 62 total TDs to just 5 INTs. He's just small kinda like John Stephen Jones was (not quite to that extent, Jones is like 5'9) and doesn't have a huge arm.
There is a 4* QB from California that has visited Arkansas twice already so most think Chad will take two QBs in 2020 with his son being one of them, but Chandler probably won't be the higher rated of the two.

And the son can walk on at no cost. I have never seen him play but my guess the offers out there so far are courtesies since they were made so early with little playing experience.

He's now truly part of the SEC! Finebaum doesn't interview AAC players! https://twitter.com/RazorbackFB/status/ ... 5754924032
Re: Ben Hicks transfers to Hogs
There is talk that Lincoln Riley is going after Chandler pretty aggressively - no courtesy offer at Oklahoma

My $ is on Auburn for Morris
Re: Ben Hicks transfers to Hogs
Unless the others really are courtesy offers that are for show only, my bet is Clemson, so Morris can have a reason to hang around "as a dad" ... and stay in Dabo's mind.

ESPN has him as the 7th overall QB transfer this year, right behind Buchele:

He did put up some very impressive stats during his time at SMU. Will be interesting to see if he can earn the starting job under Morris and whether he can actually compete at the SEC level.
