I believe SMU is truly the better team and on a neutral site we win by a touchdown or more. Is Memphis an 8-0 team with our record?

Given it's in Memphis, I can see why the line is closer and it's 2 high scoring team, but think it's generous to have Memphis favored. At best it's even.

I said this would happen especially given GameDay officially announced it.

Remember Memphis lost to Temple at Temple because our Refs are absolute trash. They should be 8-0. They struggle on the road but they're another animal at home.

It's not negativity but realism when saying that Memphis has all the advantages and we are missing a critical piece of the offense. It should be fun but I be shocked if we won.

I think it's easier to say Memphis and SMU should be undefeated. Memphis got screwed by a horrendous call at Temple. Tulsa kicker is going to miss every time anyways so it's fine. That would have been glorious though: two AACs teams 8-0; Memphis would have been like 18 and would be considered a Top 20 match-up. But oh well. I'm committed to my predictions but I really hope we can pull off a win.

This Team is 8-0 and there is no way could predict an L after the season they've played. So in deference to the tremendous preparation and effort that the team and staff have put in every week my prediction is:

Memphis 41

Getting players healthy and not losing them during the game will important, but that's true for every team at this point in the season. Our O is going to have to really perform and wear down Memphis like Tulsa did, O-Line play will be vital this week.
