40s for football is not bad for the players. Not great for those in attendance, but fine for the players.

Agree, 40’s is prime weather. Being an old lineman rain is great too! I understand it may not be ideal for the team but.....it sure is fun

I would imagine those rain soaked uniforms, in 40 degrees, would get old after the 1st 2 hours?

Well for one thing, you change at half time. Also, you have pads under the uniforms so it is not like the fans getting their shirts soaked. Oh, and I almost forgot, God makes sure the rain falls on both teams, not just one.

Just talked to coach Dykes at the bookstore. He all but guaranteed a huge SMU win. Ponies by 17!
