He should have scored a TD to make the score look bigger than it did for the pollsters and a win to the Vegas record.

Just being a good winner...and knowing you are going to be facing Navy again in the future

Scoring that extra touchdown would have made Vegas happy not to mention "Nate" who predicted a 38-24 result. I don't really understand not punching it in to cover the spread...

I think Sonny is a gracious winner. he just didn't want to run up the score and the game was already won. this was a good game and he respected Navy for their efforts.

Oh of course and I respect it but given the climate we need to be a bit cut throat if we want to make noise.

IMO going undefeated and/or winning the conference would make noise.
I would prefer if we are going to run up a score that it be against cougar high or tiny tulsa. Also cincy but that is wishful thinking. :)

This season is not about "style points" by running up scores. It's about beating Houston, UCF & Cincinnasty as we have opportunities against all of them

Remember how we felt when Texas Tech tried to run up the score against us a few years back? You just do not do that.

Speaking of being a gracious winner, I liked seeing our team stand behind Navy during their school song. #classy

Yes, Sonny teaches not only winning but winning with class and respect. Those playing for Navy are our future military and deserve our respect. The way we treat our competitors is long remembered after the game. Likewise those who did their best to run up the score (aka cougar high years ago) are seldom forgotten and often despised.

Me too. Navy always does that with opponents. Very impressive.
