Paul had a good night last night. Other than all the times he was woken up by the nurses for blood sugar checks, breathing treatments, etc, he had a good night. He was able to go right back to sleep each time. That's praiseworthy blessing. Diana stayed with Trina throughout the day yesterday and overnight too. Thank you, Diana, for being such a support to both Trina and Paul! She said she thought he would have slept the entire night if not for the interruptions. So glad he is resting better.

Trina said today they have had a very busy but good day!! She emphasized that this is the first day that she feels like her Paul is back!! Thank you, Lord. They set the bed in a sitting position for over an hour and then moved him to sitting in a chair and he did really, really well. His BP did begin to rise so they moved him back to the bed.

Prayer requests: Please continue your prayers for movement through his intestines. They have stopped narcotic pain meds (another praise!), which can slow our systems, and giving stimulating medications.

His sleep patterns are still a little unbalanced and we need to pray his days and nights get straightened out. Last night was a great indicator that he is on the right track.

Praises: Sitting up for extended period of time today! Helps the gut and also to strengthen him!

Able to ween off narcotics and he not been in pain.

Big thank you to The Pony Express Show for including Paul in your show last night and sharing your love and support for him. To hear that the SMU Mustang football team are going to be honoring Paul and will be wearing "PL" stickers on their helmets for the first game of the season this Saturday brought Paul (and all of us) to tears. The love, support and prayers from the SMU Mustangs community has been amazing.

Glad to hear that he is progressing. Also I saw that the team will have a special sticker on the helmets for this weeks game.
