Hear! Hear! Could you imagine if we would have invested all this money on football and on the fountains and buildings on academics, maybe we’d be ranked higher than 72!CBpony wrote:Maybe we should start investing more in academics!
I saw his quote that he left because he had taken SMU as far as he could. I really want our guys to come back and win this game because right now it's looking like we have inferior talent and that is killing me. Have to win this game and start beating TCU for DFW area recruits. I just think this game is a LOT more important than those who are downplaying it suggest. TCU is never going to want to allow SMU into the same conference they are in because history suggests we will beat them IF we are on equal footing. As long as they are P5 and we remain G5 they are going to have an advantageponyboy wrote:Traitor.Charleston Pony wrote:Our guys are just getting man handled. Great score and defensive stand to close out the half. Need points to start the second half.DC-Pony wrote:SMU ball to start the second half. Score and this is a game again.
Agree. That 1st possession of 2nd half may well dictate the outcome of this gameDC-Pony wrote:SMU ball to start the second half. Score and this is a game again.
32 yards on 17 carries for our running game today. Our guys are just getting manhandled and if that doesn't change, our QBs are going to have to become a big part of the running game to keep TCU's defense honest. They keep sneaking 7-8 guys into the box to stuff the runSoCal_Pony wrote:We are still in this game…..
having said that, outside of Camar Wheaton, who was an unknown entering this season due to injury, i was rather underwhelmed with our RB group. Certainly not anywhere near P5 level, i suspect below average in AAC this year which is unacceptable if your goal is to win Championships.
I have not followed UCF, Cincy or UH that closely, but i bet their RBs are far superior to ours.
I think our RBs would be very good with P5 offensive linemenSoCal_Pony wrote:We are still in this game…..

I understand the sentiment, but i completely disagree.mrydel wrote:I think our RBs would be very good with P5 offensive linemenSoCal_Pony wrote:We are still in this game…..
