I have a lot of Whorn friends--unavoidable in Austin, and they have other, redeeming qualities for the most part--and I can't think of a single one who's been happy with Ewers. All wanted Manning to start, all year.

I may be wrong but I just don't see Ewers as a high NFL draft pick and wonder whether he will enter the portal hoping to get a NIL deal that would exceed anything he could expect from a NFL rookie contract. I do think his days at Texas are over with and it's time for the whorns to get some return on their investment in Manning
