Good week for our former Mustangs on the PGA Tour. Harry's 6 under 2nd round has him at 5 under and T-13th, Noah is at 3 under and T-37th while Mac is 2 under and just made it in under the cutline and officially T-52nd

Meanwhile, Austin Smotherman is at 6 under and 5 shots off the lead in Savannah on the Korn Ferry Tour where he has already had 2 Top 10 finishes this year

Tough weather for the final round in San Antonio saw Harry finish even par for the week, 9 shots back and T-30th earning $62,225. Mac falls to plus 4, T-52nd and good for $23,133 while Noah finishes plus 5, T-56th and earned $22,040

Bryson sits in 2d place at the Masters one shot off the lead. ESPN didn’t show much of his 4 under round.

It's all about Bryson this week (as far as following SMU golfers) but I haven't really followed the television coverage closely enough to know whether LIV golfers are being treated differently. If Bryson is in the final 2 groups Sunday and in the hunt for the title they won't have any choice

Meanwhile over on the Korn Ferry Tour where Austin Smotherman is trying to earn his way back onto the PGA Tour, Austin has earned $122k and ranks 17th on the money list. The Top 30 on that tour's points list earns their cards for the next season. I've read that the average Korn Ferry player has about $80k annual expenses to compete on that tour

Bryson couldn't get it done today but if he couldn't win it was nice to see Rory finally get his Slam. The way those 1st 2 holes started today I really thought it might be Bryson's day but things can change quickly at Augusta

Harry, Mac & Noah headed to the Dominican to play the Corales Puntacana Championship this week for 20% of the purse their higher ranked fellow PGA Tour players will be playing for at The Heritage on Hilton Head

While Justin Thomas fired a 10 under 61 at the Heritage today to take a 1st round lead on Hilton Head, our guys are chasing Joel Dahmen who fired a 10 under 62 at the Corales Puntacana. Noah is at 3 under and T-51st, Mac is at 2 under and T-68th and Harry is even par and T-97th

Round 2 in the books for SMU's golfers and Noah and Harry are going home early while Mac is sitting right on the cut line at 3 under. There are enough golfers on the course to move the cut line to 4 under and send Mac home as well

Round 2 completed and Mac makes the cut but will start tomorrow morning 13 shots behind leader Joel Dahmen

Mac played his 3rd round in 90 degree heat and humidity and had a roller coaster (3 birdie 3 bogey) round to remain at minus 3, currently T-54th

On a day when only 15 of the 70 qualifiers shot under par rounds, Mac goes 2 over to end the week at one under and earns $9,373 for his T-53rd finish

Over on the Korn Ferry Tour, Austin Smotherman's 11 under week is good for a T-20th finish as he maintains his # 19 ranking on the points list
