Yi─ƒito─ƒlu misses layup — he was clobbered and got away with a blatant elbow — but then got the rebound and followed his own miss, closing the WF lead to 42-38

BJ Edwards with a great steal — giving him 56 this season, tied for ACC lead — and feeds A.J. George, who gets clobbered on his way to the rim. George hits 2 FTs to make it 52-48

Friedrichsen can't believe he picked up his first foul ... and he's right. Great steal.
Say what you want about players having an off game, but the officials are having one tonight, too. At least their bad calls have been fairly even between the teams ... but they have really struggled.

Another terrible call: Oquendo gets a blocked shot — a clean block — and as has been a pattern tonight, doesn't get whistled for a foul until after the officials see whether the subsequent shot goes in or not.
Amateur performance from the officials.

Taking bad shots, giving up offensive rebounds. Just being outplayed.
