SEC teams look a lot better when they’re not playing.

FSU is back and that's good for the ACC. New OC, DC & QB and the motivation of putting last season's debacle to rest. Now up 24-7 and imposing their will on Bama. Won't be long before they are calling for the coach's head in Tuscaloosa if the Tide can't turn this thing around.

I’m wondering who ESPN will now pick to win the Heisman since Arch deflated his image today. Thinking maybe the Ohio State QB.

FSU is looking like the old FSU teams. Kind of glad we aren’t playing them this year. Hope they continue to crush ‘Bama.

ESPN did everything they could to hype that kid and now they're going to do everything they can to tear it down.
It reeks of BS to me.

ESPN hype machine is in damage control regarding Arch. Horn boards are blowing up on a number of topics...
So typically Texas.

Alabama and FSU trade scores and FSU retains a 2 TD lead halfway through the 4th.
Castellanos transferred in from BC and wasn't real sold on him but FSU seems to know what to do with him - ball control and run it down their throats.

Can't forget Castellanos running circles around our D in the Fenway Bowl loss to BC

My weekend is coming together nicely. She Who Must Be Obeyed is a very happy 'Nole tonight.
Only thing left is a clean, injury free pounding of the "other A&M"
Oh and UNC pounding tcu to mush...

Big boy football at Tiger Stadium.
Clemson needs to carry the ACC torch tonight. 2 big SEC program losses is going to be hard to overlook.

ACC is 9-3 so far with UNC, Miami and VTech yet to play. FSU win was huge. Clemson was a disappointing outcome for the conference.
Can still end up a very respectful opening weekend for the ACC.

Not sure why Klubnik was so off. There was pressure but it’s not like he’s the scared freshman he was when he lost at Duke in Riley Leonard’s breakout game. How bad the Clemson loss is depends on how they do in conference. Basically, they can’t run away with it or else the $EC hype machine will shred the reputation of ACC Football 2025.

LSU made great adjustments at half. Shutting down Clemson in the second half is no small accomplishment. SMU did similar in the ACC conference championship. Just didn't finish the game.
Over on TigerNet there is meltdown for many. Need a new OC, HC, etc. Blamed Klubnik's performance on OL, receivers, OC, play calling. Agree a loss to a top 10 team early in the season isn't a season killer. A Clemson win over a top 10 SEC team would have been huge, though. Would have brought a bit of early season respect for the conference.
We really need to pick up our game. Baylor looked sharp against Auburn. We looked pedestrian at best. Lots of mistakes and poor execution. Yes, very plain game plan as was expected. Still, we could have been more crisp in execution. And we didn't take long to get the SMU tradition of selfish personal foul unsportsmanlike like conduct penalty. That's just embarrassing!
Lashlee and his staff have some work to do this week or it will be a bitter result against Baylor.

Lashlee commented post game that Hudson going down on our 1st offensive play may have knocked some of the enthusiasm out of our guys. It was disheartening after all we've heard about Jordan's stepping up and looking like WR # 1 this year
