Sorry for the delay in the update.
According to SMU we have $5651.00 in the account. There is a lag time from donation to when the Athletic department gets a report, so it may actually be a little higher. The good news is that what is in the account is more than I have in my spreadsheet. There are a few guys that told me they donated but not the amount. I will post a list of those who I know pitched in and put a question mark for those who pitched in that I did not get an amount.
We need to get to try to get 9k or so to cover all of Thad's costs. The rights to the song cost 5k alone. While this blew the budget up some, but the song really did make the commercial. I have been working on sources outside of ponyfans to help defray some of this overrun. Those of you who want to throw in a little more, you now know we and by we, I mean Thad, could use it.
I am also working on a communication plan to use alternative sources for distribution of the video. Sources that cost little or no monet Suggestions are welcome. SMU will not pay any more to broadcast on other programs. I will probably start a separate thread on this when I get it done this weekend.

We need 9K+ ... I spent 5K on the music alone. Which was worth it, even if I lose money.
Can't put out anything that we wouldn't be proud of... and I will never put out crap. I'd love for you guys to help me cover costs, but I do it out of love for the program (and pride in my work).

I paid what I had to pay to make some great stuff... and I paid more when Treadway made sure it was tax deductible, so it's cool.

We will get the money, somehow. It may take me awhile, but we will get it.
It was well worth it. Thad gave us a great name for a media campaign, Your City, Your Team. Now we just have to make it stick and get it put there.
We have the know how right here on ponyfans. We have produced something SMU could not have produced themselves or without paying many of thousand $ more than what we did and can do, particularly at this point in time. Let's build on it.
