Paul McCoy got a 6th year of eligibility at Saint Mary's. They are on ESPNU and he just hit a shot. Good for him.

Good find. Didn't realize he was playing there.

I went with Ponyte to watch UALR and ULLAF play tonight. Even after the debacle on Tuesday night I am astounded to realize how much better we have become in just 2 years. We went to OT with UALR 2 years ago and they beat us at home 3 years ago. The two teams I saw tonight would not be able to stay on the court with us at all even if we played at the level we did on Tuesday. I am more impressed with what Coach Brown is doing than I already was. Our league, our play, our game presentation, etc. are all at an exceeding higher level, even more so than I had thought.

Was wondering if that was the same Paul McCoy. . . Seems like he's been in college for so long, he'll have to announce his retirement after this year.

Always good to step back and get some perspective. I've thought the same thing when watching UT-Arlington (Sun Belt) games lately.

He transferred to Saint Mary's after his sophomore year at SMU. He had four knee surgeries before ever getting on the court for Saint Mary's. People forget how good he was for us. He averaged 13 points his freshman year and had a 32 point game that season. I believe he started every game. His knee issues cut short a promising career.
