I hope with a 9 game win streak and leading the American we get a little respect this week. I do think we need a solid win against USF Saturday to solidify a position.

Does Temple and USF at home take us from 0 votes to top 25? We all think we should be but I feel like we are still flying under the radar in a weird way.

Just keep winning and it'll take care of itself.

Beating Cincy next Thursday up there would go a long way to getting ranked.

We MIGHT get a handful of votes winning Saturday. We aren't getting into the rankings unless we beat Cincy.

I don't think there is anything weird about it. I think we currently fall somewhere 30-35.
Ultimately (IMHO) if we finish the season somewhere 22-25 this team has played to or slightly above its potential.

This is a good team but there are a lot of very good teams out there.

Let's say TCU beats @WV this Saturday, Pitt beats @Syracuse, and we beat USF...

13-2 TCU with win over #7 WV on road, loss to Kansas, SMU
14-3 SMU with wins over TCU and what should be a ranked ACC leading 13-3 Pitt team, loss to #25 USC, MI, BSU
13-3 Pitt with win over #11 UVA,, losses to SMU, #24 ND, 1 really bad loss to Duquesne

Which teams are ranked on Monday - which is ranked highest?

I suspect TCU and Pitt would be in the top 25 ranking and we will not - even though we would have beaten both of them (rather handily, I might add).

I think we match up better against Cincy style of play this year. Maybe wishful thinking. We shall see

Cinci goes pretty deep and they like to drive the lane. With our short bench it is going to be tough. I hope we can since I HAVE NEVER SEEN US BEAT CINCI UP HERE. I have three church members going with me to watch next Thursday, so we will be cheering loud.

True depth will be an issue. However our defensive/rebounding identity I think helps us against them. Agree with you the key is foul trouble. Also expect that extreme defensive pressure to give McDowell andnpotentially Gu some fits

OU and UT are both off in basketball this year. I wouldn't make too much out of TCU's win at home over a down OU.

TCU has no shot of WVU at WVU in my opinion.
