Last time around LB said we got hosed as teams that play on Sunday are supposed to play on Friday. If that's the case and we get a Friday/Sunday site, we are looking at Indy, Tulsa, Sacto or Greenville SC

CBS now has us matched up vs. Wichita St (6/11) - that would be unfortunate, two teams that would seem to be very underseeded.

they will be too busy sucking up to big 12 teams to put us in Tulsa - so i predict greeville

This is a major concern of mine.

Us as a six seed is a joke.

Playing Wichita state is a Nightmare scenario round one.

For anyone. They should not be an 11. Which is exactly why I expect this to be our round 1 match up

Same thing happened to Arizona last year

Thank you. People focus on all of these individual brackets when there is a resource out there that compiles 100s of them every day.

We have been slowly but steadily moving up in the matrix. I have a spreadsheet where I have been tracking it most days and we were an 11 seed going into the season and a 7 seed a month ago. I actually got bitter and did not look for awhile there after we lost some games in November, but I am confident we dropped out completely for awhile.

for entertainment purposes, using the bracketmatrix info, lets say we will be a 5 or 6 seed.

here are the 11's and 12's from the same info:
11: Xavier, Wake, USC, MTSU, Vandy
12: Syracuse, Illinois St, Nevada, UNCW, UT-A

dreaming about a 4? here are the 13's:
Vermont, Princeton, Akron, ETSU

I don't like that the AAC is playing it's final Sunday afternoon. I know it's for TV dollars, but I don't think it helps the conference. If form holds and we're playing Cincy in the final, not sure the committee will alter the bracket regardless of who wins. In my opinion, if we make it to Saturday (semi-finals), we are locked in to a 6 or 5 seed. Lose Friday and it will be a 7 or 6. Hope I'm wrong. However, much more interested in who we are playing than what seed we are. Would so much rather see a Xavier or Vandy than a Wichita State or even MTSU.

I see this is a good thing actually, if both Cincy and SMU are in the finals. I could easily see the committee putting two place holders out there. The winner of the game gets a four seed, the loser a six seed. I would be OK with that.
