Houston has no problem with that Shocker Press , we've had some issues and turnovers.

UH's D and rebounding is impressive.
I thought they were a paper tiger, but they are a legit contender. Will be 2 real tough games against UH.
They are waxing WSU. WSU doesn't even look like the same team i've seen all season.

It is really terrible what has happened to UCF with injuries.

Speaking of injuries does anyone know if Jarrey is playing against Tulane? Tulane has beaten SMU and Houston. Dunleavy has them playing well. This game may not be a cakewalk.

Very impressive game by the Coogs but remember: that was payback for the whuppin’ they got in Wichita.
Conclusions:
1) Houston is for real... at least in their rent-a-gym.
2) The Shocks are human. They played great at home and still got beaten then played miserably on the road.
3) WHY DOES #2 sound so familiar?

I’m not believing it.

The American is legitimately a power conference in basketball. The Valley is a mid-major that is not even in the top 10. While we do not garner the respect that many other power conferences do we have 9 teams that are contending for NIT or NCAA tournament bids which is a huge step up from a one bid league.

Agree. Tulane might even make the NIT this year.

Yes, I still think the loss at Tulane is inexcusable for this SMU team given we had the game in hand and proceeded to give it away but that is a legitimate team.

That Houston vs WSU game was just a complete reversal of what happened in Wichita. Getting embarrassed will do a lot to motivate a team, especially on their home court. Hope that is the rule tonight and we come out strong from the opening tip

Yes, this is what to look for tonight. The MOB should also be close to full strength with classes starting early next week.
I was disappointed my Coogs lost at Tulane as well. Maybe SMU can beat WSU home AND away. I'm glad the UH vs SMU game has more relevance after today.
