I'm am sick and tired of listening to these idiot broadcasters talking about how great A&M defense is playing to be able to shut down a "June Jones" offense. They are so lazy they can not even do a little homework and realize Baylor and SFA to some degree shut our offense down!

agreed. so sick of how people think JJ is an 'offensive mastermind' yet his offense hasnt done crap for 5 years

And they just called a play saying Zack Line with the ball when it was clearly number 35. Terrible!

at least we wont lose next week. 605 yds against us. pathetic.

JJ never gave CP a chance. gave up on the game with the field goal. two more years of GG and JJ unless the new AD gives JJ another extension.

In hindsight, it seems like SMU's more recent success has come in spite of June Jones, as opposed to it being BECAUSE of June Jones. There's no question, June was at the top of his game during the 2009 season. But, in hindsight, it seems like his drive came more from trying to prove something to Hawaii than to actually ever do anything for the SMU product. I mean, even before the end of the season, he was committed to taking the team to the Hawaii Bowl, as if he wanted to show up with the Mustangs and say "See, I told you I could do this. I told you I deserved more money." I've watched our offense stumble over the last few years in games that we should've won, such as Navy, Army, and UCF. In the meantime, our defense, which June doesn't touch, has actually improved. There just doesn't seem to be any fire under June Jones, and it looks like it's carrying over to the players. Plus, I'm sure there are some in that SMU locker room that remember how ready June was to abandon the team for ASU at the drop of a hat. Thoughts?

I don't think there will be another extension

maybe jj is correct- perhaps we should only play southland conf teams. we might not get beaten so bad.
