The purple hippo comment I get, but do I really look like a flasher?
Nah, just exercising literary license and got carried away. I think more like a George Clooney type...............Better????
Yes...but no.
I was thinking more of a Brad Pitt look, with the gargled glass voice of Vin Diesel and the size of The Rock.
But I am pretty pasty though. It's the winter time you know.

You should get the 'Ponyfans Member of the Month Golden Horseshoe" for all this leg work!
I am just trying to help out the board here.
Keep an eye out on that plane. If that damn thing lands at 1 AM, I am there.
Currently trying to find a purple hippo costume.

I figured someone would have bothered to look that up before this got so out lengthy, but I was just curious. Plus, I wanted to post a picture of the plane so now everyone knows what they are looking for.

Just checked the Navy and GT boards again. No threads with more than a few thousand views since they began. Nothing came anywhere near 18,000 views in a few hours. Obviously we have much more interest in our new coach and in the possibility of PJ.
This may be the first time that I can honestly say I am proud of SMU fans! Georgia Tech is a major program, but apparently has little interest in it. The fervor that has existed on this site today rivals that of only a few places. I get updates, phone calls, and text messages from friends and family all over the country about Nebraska football all the time. Husker fans check the message boards and news sites constantly. Obviously, SMU will never match the level of interest of the Nebraska fan base, but today I saw a lot of parallels. We are the only two fan bases that have been tracking our booster's planes. I have been getting phone calls and text messages all day. The number of people who viewed this thread alone is incredible. Even throughout the season, score updates were being text messaged from friends around the country checking the scores online as we lost game after game. (....and we graduated 7 years ago, and probably only held marginally more interest than the general student body when we were actually in school. These were the days when we played in the Cotton Bowl, and lots of times there were simply better games to be watched at the bar, so it was too much effort to get down there.)
Point is, I think SMU football may be at a turning point--at least in fan support. Just look how many people viewed the Knucklehead Pony Up video before the season started. It was over 20,000 views in a matter of 2 or 3 days. Everyone seems to have had enough of the losing, and no matter what actually transpires this week, I hope that the administration is on the same page and has hired someone that can turn this ship around.

Ahh well, huskerpony, I was holding out hope that you were my bro and one time producer Kyle... but he would have been 6 years ago.

Anyhow, welcome to the board!
