Now that this season is where it is, we need to all be supportive. If anyone is hoping for a flame out at this point, you're an idiot. I care a whole more about the program and the players than I do about the coach. So, regardless of coach's antics, let's get out there to every game and cheer on the 'Stangs!
Who's with me?!!

Mustangs have shown great effort and hustle this year. Starting to pay off with the assistant coaches helping alot. Still don't think Doh is our Coach but the team is fun to watch and hopefully win more the remaining season. Just hurts to know with every win Doh is back for a little while longer.

I'm sorry, but I'll focus a little more when SMU is even close to relevant in BBall.
(A couple of years ago SMU gave SC Upstate its first 1A win - I'm from SC and I don't know who the fvck SC Upstate is!?!).

If you don't care, don't post. I'm not sure this thread missed ya. We're proving to be somewhat relevant this year in conference so far, and next year looks mighty nice on paper

Does this count me refreshing it, and looking at it 100 times?

I didn't know the rules regarding posting about our terrible team. Seriously, only people that appreciate top 300 teams are allowed to post.

nothing about this program is yours, if all you've got is drive-by hate.

I haven't seen us play in person, of course. But I'm curious if this offense will consistently lend itself to the team getting to the FT line more often than not.
I would presume its based on ball reversal and such. The thought struck me bc SMU shot only 4 FTs last night.

I distinctly remember us not having any free throws in the first half. 4-4 for the game...although we were not driving to the basket, but rather settling for the jumper.

Very limited opinion here.
I witnessed the UH game. I knew nothing about SMU's offense at that time and was shocked at all the pick and roll or back door breaks that were never executed. It appeared that they set up these plays but never passed to the player that appeared to be open on a backdoor or pick and roll.
Against Tulsa, I saw more passes to the breaking backdoor player and successful pick and roll.
I think that the kids are learning this offense and slowly expanding its capability.
So I think this offense will, if executed and continues to progress, get us to the FT line more.

That seems logical.
